You can't raise one end of a pivot line in 3D, but you can place a roof plane in 3D.

See ....

https://help.graphisoft.com/AC/29/INT/index.htm?rhcsh=1&rhnewwnd=0&rhmapid=#t=_AC29_Help%2F040_ElementsVB%2F040_ElementsVB-62.htm&rhsearch=roof%20plane%203D&rhhlterm=roof%20plane%203D&rhsyns=%20

Step 5, you pick 3 points that are points you want the roof plane to pass through.

So it is best if you have these points defined in your model, either with walls or a temporary column that is the correct height.

Then define the outline of the roof, you can choose any points, their height is not applicable.

You are just placing the perimeter of the roof plane.

Hi,

I am trying to make a single plane roof that is pitching up towards the gable, but one end is pushed up on the Z-axis to make two reversed salt box on either side. This then is connected with a ridge on the diagonal. I can get a single plane to work in Sketchup, I just can't figure out how to manipulate a single plane roof in ArchiCAD.

Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon

Given your pitches are not symetrical, you just need a free edge when defining your ridge sides. Once you have defined your two roof planes following Barry's directions, you can then select one roof plane and ctrl + click the ridge edge of the opposing roof plane. This will trim the clicked edge to the intersection of the selected roofs projection. Do the same in reverse to finish aligning your ridge.
