Hello Barry,

Hope you are well, appreciate your handwork on these forums!

I've done a test of saving out the teamwork file to a regular PLN. Then, I shifted the fills around. Saved and closed a few times and found that the elevations and the fill display orders of the fills did not change. You may be correct in that it is a teamwork glitch.

I am now assuming that the teamwork server or reloading causes the fills to jumble back up. Is there someone who can advise on this?

Thanks again!

I have seen a few discussions on this but did not quite find a suitable solution.

1. I have set up some internal elevations in a project. There are fills used to cover the 3D scene itself as it represents items better. This is like wall finishes and such. I will select the fills and change the display order (send them to the rear of the other objects manually). I redefine window with current settings.

2. These usually stay fine. Even opening and closing the teamwork file, it will remain okay for a bit. However, many times, when reopening the project the next day, it will reset. The display order will change and I will have to redo the adjustments in each internal elevation. The fills display order will reset itself and become in front of the 3d objects (plumbing fixtures) and also tags.

3. No other person works in the teamwork file, so I can rule out other people moving stuff. How do I stop this?

Silly question, but if no-one else is working on the file, why use teamwork?

Does the same happen with a stand-alone PLN?

At least then you can narrow it down to being a teamwork problem.

I have read other posts where things like this only happen in teamwork files.

But as I don't use teamwork, I have never investigated them.

This is actually a combined Teamwork and Section/Elevation/Interior elevation problem.

I don't remember all the technical stuff, there was article about this behaviour here on community but it is now archived.
Display order in Teamwork project is transferred for all users only in floorplan but not in sections/elevations/Interior elevation. The same problem would probably happen if you would open the project on another machine since if I recall correctly, this information is stored in local data.

Reccomended solution for this was to model the elements via morph (you can have only simple plane) or others and place them in order you need them to be visible in the "3D generated view.

There is also article on the support site but it is more related in general, not for sections
