topic Plotmaker 9 for OSX file name bug in Modeling

<T>There appears to be a serious bug in Plotmaker 9 for OSX ( 2045 INT Full). The old 31 character file name limit has not been removed which prevents files being saved if the file name has 31 characters or above. No warning is given. The layout book appears to be saved as normal (progress bar etc), but looking at the file in the Finder shown it has not been updated.

File name with 31 characters is OK eg: "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz1.lbk"

File name with 32 characters causes the bug to appear
eg: "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz12.lbk" fails thus:

1. Opening the file - the file name in the "Reading from" window is truncated with a # followed by some numbers.

2. Work on the layout book and do a save. The save progress bar appears as normal and no error messages appear.

3. The invisible temporary file gets written with the modified name.

4. the original layout file is not replaced by the invisible temporary file because the names do not match.

5. Work is lost because when you close the layout file and re open in, no changes have been saved, and there are no warnings!

Apple Mac G5 2Ghz, 2.5Gb RAM OSX 10.3.9

Please fix this at the next update!

Regards,
