<T>I make a GDL walls with two material as the picture showing below. When I pull into the model that I am working on, the material become one and I am not able to adjust the material. How could I make the material adjustable as the way I want it to be?</T>

First thing I'd do is make sure you have "use objects material" checked in the library parts material dialogue. If it is, you need to open the object and add the parameters for the materials for the different parts of the 3D script. Assuming you created this from the floor plan, it shouldn't be too difficult to find depending on how you made the object.
If you did what I think you did (assembled this on the floor plan and saved as an object from the 3D window?). You've got some Finding and Replacing to do. Using the basic shapes is an excellent way to get involved in writing your own scripts as they are easy to manipulate into doing what you command. For the new GDL user are very effective at helping one to understand the space that you are working in.

A great investment is the GDL cookbook.

Let me know what works.

Thanks

I did build the model in 2D window and also save GDL objects form 2D window as well. Should I save the GDL objects from 3D window? I was thinking as long as I am saving the project, I should save in the 2D window. I did plan to buy the GDL cookbook. I was waiting new edition since March.

I change all of the material setting to "use objects material" ,b tu still not work. I saw you also mention of "add the parameters for the materials for the different parts of the 3D script", but I don't know how to add the parameters for the materials for the different parts of the 3D script. I think I should get that GDL cookbook soon 😛
