Don't you remember the magic wand improvement? That was a biggie and only four or five versions ago as I recall

The Marquee is in need of improvements. Polygon editing (as you suggest) is a must. Save and load, would be nice. Even multiple active marquees perhaps. It is obviously possible (even easy?) since Teamwork can use them to define work areas.

Why don't you add this to the wish list?

<T>O.K., I am risking it all.

Question: Why does the Marquee Area disappear when you cut and paste an element?</T>

Because the "Paste" function hijacks the Marquee to control the elements being pasted.

Well, I would appreciate it giving it back after the hijack.
The paste thing drives me crazy. No reason for those two things to be connected. 'Restore Marquee' is one of my oldest wishes. And polygon editing for the marquee. I don't think either one has been polled. (True of many wishes that predate this forum.)

...Here is one of those wishes where it starts out as something very specific I'm not sure I like, and evolves into a general 'improvement' wish, which, who could argue? So then I never vote, but maybe you'll feel differently.

I think an overhaul of the marquee tool every 10-15 versions is probably not too much to ask.
