Wall affecting column

I have a problem with the material of the column when the wall touches it. The wall material is set to 'Brick - Coursing only'
The Column Material to concrete,
Now you go into 3d, or project a section and the column has 'Brick - coursing only' material around it, (the walls material) when it should be made of concrete. There's probably a little button to turn off, but i cant find it, so if you can answer this, your a legend.

whooops spoke to soon, found it after i posted, its a button called 'constuction method' if anyone had same problem in column settings box
