Thanks Djordje,

I will give a download manager a try.

Its a shame the download.com servers are so busy, we have an 6 Mbit broadband connection here in the office and have seen download speeds in excess of 500KB/sec from the Nvidia website for example!

<R>Does anyone know of any alternative download locations for the ITGs. I'm getting 13KB/s with an estimated dl time of 14 hours from download.com.

I've tried several times over several days and it just cuts out after few hours. What use is that to anyone!

Has anyone managed to successfully download them in a reasonable amount of time? (If at all!)

Try using Free Download Manager or similar; if the download is dropped, it will continue it at the same spot later when the connection is re-established. And downloading 400 MB or so is never fast on a mortal connection

If you use Firefox give this add-on (DownloadThemAll) a try:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201

don't know much about how, but i've found it usually downloads much faster than the normal browsers download interface, sometimes there is no difference.

We have a pretty crappy connection here (for the size of the office) but i was getting 100-120k with one of the 750MB tutorials, but only 40-50k with the browser.
