Just click on the wall and give it a new height. You can do that in the info box. Just increase the T value, as per the attached image.

Then you can simply trim to the roof, using Edit>Trim to Roof... or more preferably use Edit>Solid Element Operations...

Cheers,
Raising Wall Without Disturbing Roof

<R>Hey! Nice raking window!

Can you please reword your question? What do you mean by 'roof attached to it'? Do you mean by Solid Element Operation? Do you want to raise the whole wall, or just the top, or the bottom of the wall? Which wall are you referring to?

The next question is who is going to mow the grass inside?

Cheers,
You should be able to do that in plan or 3D. Just select the roof, an whilst in the roof tool, click on an edge. On the appearing pet palette, select the one with the minus sign and space bar click on the part you want to get rid of. It may take further polygon edits.

No offence mate, but some of these questions are quite fundamental. Did you take any training? Are you self taught/teaching? Is there good training available down there?

Being a trainer and an Aussie myself, I'd be interested to hear about it.

Cheers,
