<T>Dear ArchiCAD-Talkers,

We have released Hotfix 1086 for ArchiCAD 11. It applies to Commercial, Trial and Educational licenses, and is currently available for INT and USA language versions. To download the Hotfix, please use "Check for updates..." command in Help menu.

Before installing the Hotfix, please take a moment to read the Release Notes!

Files with hotlinked modules may open unusually slow for the first time, as a result of a critical bugfix. This is normal, and happens at the first opening. After saving such a file, you might notice that the file gets significantly smaller.

A note for Grid Tool users: This Hotfix is a must-have for Grid Tool users. It fixes several functionality bugs, as well as some frequent crashes.
Thx for the Hotfix - Really appreciate all the responses and hardwork from GS.
Is there any chance that this can be fixed in the next hotfix? I apologize in advance if this puts you in the hot seat...
Anyone else had this, which I assume is Hotfix related, but unless someone else had it happen, it must be the aliens again.

Hummmm.. same with Environment Schemes. I had recently redone them, and the new scheme has reverted back to the old one. I didn't rename it, but resaved the scheme.

Archicad can't cope if you move things around. Since some users do not have the plot preference disappearing problem, is it possible you relocated your preferences and put new Archicad in a snit?

I just installed this hotfix as well and noticed a different problem. I used to be able to open more than one session of ArchiCAD to copy/paste between files etc... You could check the box that said "Launch a new instance of ArchiCAD and voila, 2 sessions open. Now when I try to open a second session, I get a WIBU error - No WIBU-KEY driver found. (501) - so I have to open the second session in "evaluation mode". Am I the only one on this?

I'm using AC11 w/just installed hotfix 1086 on an Intel MacBook Pro running 10.4.10

Thanks,
OK, I went to the WIBU folder inside the ArchiCAD 11 folder and found the only thing in there was a zipped (compressed) file. I unzipped it - it was a WIBU installer - which I ran. Now everything works as it should. Could the hotfix update have done that?
Unfortunately, the Plot Setup dialog needs to be re-set after applying the Hotfix. This is a side-effect caused by a necessary bugfix. To learn more about this, please read:
http://archicadwiki.com/plotter_preferences
The article also describes how to recover the settings, in case you don't remember the settings.

Further Hotfixes will not cause such problems. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have also added this to the Hotfix Release Notes. Rick, thanks for pointing this out.
