<T>I'm using ArchiCAD 8.0 V3 on a Mac running 10.2.8 and occassionally the "delete" key stop working in ArchiCAD.

I know it's not the keyboard as it works fine in other programmes. For some reason it just stops working in ArchiCAD. Usually I restart of ArchiCAD fixes the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem?</T>

I had some keyboard flakiness in AC8.0 but none in 8.1.

You should install 8.1 ASAP. There is no downside. (If you haven't already received it, contact your reseller or GSUS. It is a free upgrade.)

The reseller told me it would be available in February.

Eventually the issue clears and rather than restarting use the control/click and select clear.
Did anyone with this problem notice their zoom, pan, etc buttons not working?
This made me use the short cut keys.

So is this fixed in 8.1?

Not that issue, only hitting x,y, (option x,y) to automatically select the numeric inputs not working.
Sometimes that can be cleared by manually clicking on one of the numeric boxes.

Kerry - Does NZ use the the aussie version of Archicad or have its own version?

We have a NZ version, I think 8.1 is due out soon.

and yes the x, y, and r options don't work.

it doesn't happen often but when it does, even restarting etc clears it for a while but it happens again soon after.

Unfortunately, the delete key bug has reared its ugly head while using AC 8.1 and ArchiTerra, though it's the first time for me since v8.0. The disappearing selection dots also is not completely eradicated.
