Errant select/drag occurance?? + Attachment

Greetings all,
Appologies for 2nd post but a change of browser allows the attachement.

I have now been experiencing some odd behavior when working quickly. If you click and drag simultaneously sometimes the text/object is "left behind".
I have attached a screen shot.
In the meantime is/has anyone else observed anything like this?

Using a variety of rodents, but prefer Kensington Optical Elite.

slow down?! yes. it happens if i move the mouse a fraction of a second before i've clicked. pilot error i'm afraid . . . measure twice, cut once . . .

Well GS will play "which thimble is the pea under".

And I've been cutting AC for over 11 years. There are aspects of 10 which are great but to "fix things" when they ain't broken. Dwight's comments of the 14th July puts it very succinctly.

Another early start. Ben, you say slow down, but if I move my rodent before clicking how could I have selected the text shown in my pic to be able to move it? No drag comand was given. In 9 I just pick and move in one step.
