ArchiCAD and Art-lantis material

I just tranfer my ArchiCAD project to Art-lantis, so I can adjust the light for rendering.
I am new for ARt-lantis. The part that I don't know how to make it work is the material. In ArchiCAD I have a painting with fram. After I pull the project into the Art-lantis, it only reconise a object.

The question I have right now:
1. how to pull in the picture that I use in ArchiCAD?
2. how to sepreate the picture fram and the painting as two object?

u can reapply the material:

windows--> reapply material (ctrl + U)--> u can change it by click the plane and then create a new material.

Thank you! But I have problem to make new material. I follow the step to create a new material, but the picture is not in the material list. Could you show me how?

Are you sure that the manual doesn't cover it?
