<R>Hi there,

I could really do with some help!

I've been modelling in archicad 9 student version, and when viewing the floor plan, if I go to Window or Display and "Section/Elevation" the options are faded out and I cannot select them.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm still very new to the program but this is quite urgent!

Thanks in advance</R>

rjbecs,
You say you are new to the program so maybe you don't
know that you create sections by using the section/elevation tool.
Have you made any sections using the section/elevation tool ?
Hi Peter thanks for the quick reply... I was reading about using the tool in the Help section, but the instructions aren';t very clear and I don't really have a clue how to do it!

rjbecs,
The section/elevation tool draws a dashed line with arrow like
symbols at both ends. Start the line as you would any line
and when you end the line an eye ball cursor appears
which you use to indicate the direction and distance you want
the section to be drawn. After you have used the tool, you
can go to the window menu and go to open section/elevation.
You have play around with this tool a bit to get use to how it works
