I tried this but here I have line left overs on the plan view which I can not get rid of - see the attachment. Is there any remedy for this?

<T>Ok, I have two questions here that I cant seem to figure out. First, how do you change the pen for the wall contours in a window? I see the option to turn them on and change their line type but nothing to change their actual pen (it appears that they are pen #10).

Also, is there a way to get a ribbon window to go around a corner if its set back 3" into the wall? If its flush with the wall face its easy - take the two windows and turn on their corner options and it looks wonderful. But if the windows are set back, there is a remainder left at the corner.

Any ideas?</T>

2. Are you using a corner window with the corner window parameter turned on?
I'm not using the corner window because both sides of the window have to be equal in length (from what I can tell) and that is not the case in my situation. I am using storefront windows (which the Corner-Window tool cannot use for some reason) and turning on their corner options. This also does not display correctly in plan if the wall contours are on - the line continues right through the other corner window.

This seems to be the case with the Storefront objects. Under the CONTOUR LINES portion of the 2D Script within the W_Sf_macro_10 Macro, the PEN "gs_pen_2D" (the Frame Pen) has been remarked-out and replaced with "10". So you could either erase the "10!" or (as I did) create a new parameter for the contour lines and stick that in its place.

I have the same problem when using Curtain Walls as the wall line will generally be a heaver weight than the window.

Also shouldn't the Curtain Walls fill mitre along with the window? Currently you have to turn the window's fill off or it masks out the other window junction.

Problems like these were intended to be solved by introducing the Corner-Window tool but due to number of constrains with this tool it barely suits it purpose. Hopefully we’ll see some progress with this issue in future.

Don't hold your breath.

I wonder what level of testing functionality Graphisoft go through. By simply using the part it is obvious that there is an issue. So many parts have bugs or issues that a simple testing procedure would reveal.

I am still waiting for these parts to be fixed even though I brought it to the attention of Graphisoft six months ago.
