If the text uses any of the True Type fonts, use the 3D text object.

For the logo - as I suppose it is a bitmap - you have a few options:

1. Trace it over with slabs and create the object; if you have it in Illustrator or similar, bring in the DXF and trace it out

2. Use the Picture object and use your bitmap for the image - works if it is a rectangular logo

3. If you have ArchiFacade, it has an excellent interface for creating picture based objects. Use that (demo version is available as a free download - need I say more?)

It depends on what you need it for...

Is it for a rendering? (You could map and apply a bitmapped material for the logo)

Is it for a vector elevation or perspective? (You would need to model the text and/or logo)

Thanks,

Am quite new to this game. Was hoping to delay object modeling for a while but I guess I'll just get into it now. Have Zoom GDL and I imagin I will be able to take my Illustrator files and work them into objects?
You don't even need Zoom GDL, but if you are familiar with it, go on; anyway, check all the options!
