Actually, Turntool rocks. But only for the PC at present. I expect word back soon to see if they have the resources to get a plugin out for mactel machines.

<T>The Mac has Adobe Reader 7.0.5 and the imbedded 3D models look great.
All I have seen are the sample PDF files that Adobe puts on the web.

Since I own a Mac and AC10, and I cannot generate a PDF with U3D embedded for myself.

Are there any PC users who can attach a small example of what ArchiCAD generates? Could you post your examples on this thread?

On the Mac, you can save from the 3D view as .U3D and then import it into a PDF document using full Acrobat 7. I've just tested once, but the file got huge and didn't look too good. I think Karl has outlined the process in this forum.

If I want to export 3D models for client's viewing, I recommend using 3DS format into Sketchup, some polishing there (no Edges and Profiles on at 1 will hide the polygons and just show the true elemet edges. Also including some Pages for a Slideshow will make it easire for the client) and sending it tto the client and tell him to download the free Sketchup viewer if he hasn't got Google Sketchup already.
Just remember to .zip the file. A .skp shrinks typically 6 times!

This is no Web solution, though. Haven't found one. The grossly overpriced Zermatt looks dead to me.
