hi miquel

i'm getting this on quite a regular basis!

graphisoft have given me a file that monitors what exactly is going on under the hood on in/out operations. they seemed keen to glean as much feedback about this as possible, so talk to your dealer or support people and see if you can help out - it'll help get it fixed quicker!

<T>When I save an AC 8.1 file sometimes the save process does'nt works and I obtain an ArchiCAD Scratch. Usually I need to re-save (one or two or three times).
The last poltergeist was: Saving As a file with another name (in another place) and modifying it, give me an ArchiCAD Scratch in the new place with the contents of the old file, and the old file (with its old name) contains all the modifications.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to avoid it?</T>

Hi Ben,

Today I have disabled the Norton Antivirus protection and the scratch files are gone. Nevertheless 'today' is only a short period of time to be sure that this was the problem. I'll post more results tomorrow

Thanks !
