Wood rain screen wall

Hello to anyone listening out there.
I have a question about an exterior wall type that would allow a horizontal wood rain screen image in elevation. I have used the horiz. and vert. wood siding walls, but I want to be able to control both the width of the wood strips and the spacing between them (a 1/2" gap between boards).
Can such a wall be created easily or is there something available to purchase? I did see a siding gdl object at objects -on-line, but it did not seem to address this condition with a gap between boards.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The wall tool is very handy at building pressure equalized rainscreen walls with almost any cladding(s).
