8.1 Windows

The 8.1 Window objects are quite different from the 7.03 window objects. I looked in the User Guide for information on all the many input options. Where can I find information on the new windows?

the gs us site has a pdf of 8.0 r 3 door & window object features as well as a pdf of the 8.1 storefornt library items.

But I am looking for direction on the many parameters and customizations available with the Windows 81/Wood PLastic Windows 81.

Trying to use the Diminsion Marker "Window Marker" for my windows and I cant seem to figure out how to get the center line marker from protuding into the marker circle.

I use the Window ID to call out the window operation on the plan (ie. Fixed = FX, Slider = SL....) The building departments in this area want the operation called out on plan, and that is the only way that I have found to do this. It takes saving each ID for each window type and plasing windows in a template file (Favorites could work for this I guess) since the ID is not a "smart" setting which is related to the window object. I wish it would be so that a Fixed window object could have a "FX" designation.

If the Editable hotspots are used to modify the marker settings, these changes do not seem to be reflected in the window setting dbx under the "Marker Custom Settings"

Also can the Exterior sill be turned off and/or replaced with a lower casing?

Any GDL Guru (or not so Guru) want to help me assign a different font size between the Window Markers Diminsion parameter & the Sill Prefix parameter?
