Instead Archicad will select every object in the background but not the object I am trying to select. For example here is a stair that I am trying to select but instead a beam outside on the first floor is highlighted. They are hard to click on in 3d. Inother words "I" don't know where or how to select a stair in 3d but sometimes it works out fine and sometimes I click all over it and can't seem to select it. I have found that I am hiding layers more often to be able to select the item I need. At first I found this annoying but I have since warmed to it.
