<T>sometimes when I am in 3d perspective it is very hard to select an object right in front of me. Instead Archicad will select every object in the background but not the object I am trying to select. For example here is a stair that I am trying to select but instead a beam outside on the first floor is highlighted. It is not a huge problem at all it is just sometimes frustrating.</T>

I think that it is typically stairs. They are hard to click on in 3d. Inother words "I" don't know where or how to select a stair in 3d but sometimes it works out fine and sometimes I click all over it and can't seem to select it.

i have problem selecting items in v.10 too. in v.9 it was very easy at the floor plan to click on an edge several times and select on every click defferent objects. now where i have an edge of a wall a slab and a simple line, it keeps selecting the slab even when the quick selection is off. why is that? it was much easier with v.9

I agree with Wendy, it was a lot easier in AC 9 than AC10. I have found that I am hiding layers more often to be able to select the item I need.

In my experience GDL objects like stairs are harder to select in 3d than construction objects like walls.

As for the others, you are aware that the tab key now cycles through objects rather than multiple clicks right? At first I found this annoying but I have since warmed to it.
