    <description>no. for the same reason you can't draw a door or window with out a wall. You can use the eyedropper/syringe thing. I think it's called the Transfer Elements' Settings Tool.</description>

      <title>Copy objects between stories</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Can you copy window and door objects between stories without copying the wall at the same time? I have two floors where the walls are similar, and would like to copy the windows/doors that are in the first floor to the blank walls in the second floor.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I've tried to drag a copy in the 3d and elevation views as well as use the stories settings and cut and paste, but I have not succeeded.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>to speed things up a wee bit copy the parent wall to the storey you're working on (off to one side) and syringe your doors and windows&lt;BR /&gt;
