If you have AC9 open in it an resave in 8.1.&lt;BR /&gt;
Otherwise try dwg, but you will have just lines.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;i have opened an ArchiCAD8.1 file in ArchiCAD10 and saved it. i now would like to open that file in ArchiCAD8.1 again. is there a way to backsave? retrofit? import? or otherwise???&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>It's possible, but you would need Archicad 9 to do it.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Each version of Archicad can usually save one version back. From AC10, you can save back to AC9. From AC9, you can save back to 8.1.</description>
