Problem in Teamwork File Share by selected area

A French user report me a problem about "big" teamwork file —about 200 Mo— only share by selected area.

This file is share by a various team —3 to 11 members— on a PC network with ArchiCAD 8.1 R2 with this kind of installation :
HP Workstation xw8200 Intel Xeon. CPU 3.40GHz, 1Go de Ram
Archicad 8.1 R2 TM, Windows XP Pr.
No details and no section/elevation are attach to this project.

The problem is the next :
The "Enter time" of each member is very long —Between 1/2 hours and 6 hours for the longer—. More members are in the project more the time is longer in an exponential way.
I never heard something like that before. Enter time longer than 15 minutes is for me a maximum when your network is really bad and your project really big. But I never share big project only by selected area then I don't have any experiences of this kind of problem…

Did somebody already hear problems of this type?
Did somebody have idea to try to solve his problem ?

My first inlination would be to check out the network traffic or the antivirus software. We had a 180 MB file, with about 6 or 7 people in it at all times, and we never saw signins longer than 10 minutes.

May be your first inlination is the good, His antivirus software is "SYMANTEC NORTON GHOST 2003". They will do some try with Norton desactivate…

Apparently the Antivirus and the network would not be the problem.
They make a try in local without norton and the problem is the same…

Other information, they use modules in their teamwork file —an other thing that i have never do…—.

Is the problem could come from there?

The problem is always here, and only for the sign in phase. The "send and Receive" does not last an abnormal time…

Between each screen of Sign several minutes pass —more and more in function of the number of members of the teamwork…—.

In the sign in phase, I think that the traffic of file in the network is not very important.
What ArchiCAD doing of special in this phase which can take all this time ?
This time go without alert message and/or crash…
