Working slowly with AC8

I made a project of 2.2MB on a G5 and feel it very slowly. Is there any way to make it more faster. To generate a 3d view with colors it took about 5min. To open this project (that doesn´t have 3d objects) it took also a lot of time. Who has the word? Apple or Graphisoft..

Working on other softwares like artlantis, piranesi, office. I have no problems with time.

I see that you are still using ArchiCAD 8.0 on your MAC. I suggest the first thing you do to help with the speed problem is to upgrade to 8.1. ArchiCAD 8.1 is a free upgrade, if you don't have it you should get in contact with you local reseller.

I think that you will find just by upgrading to 8.1 you will see some noticeable changes.

Ok, I allready ordered. but I have one doubt does the apis are compatible with AC8.1 ?

No, but all the Cigraph ones that you are using are available for 8.1
