topic 2d-3d view doesn´t correspond using solid element operation. in Modeling

<T>Hello!

I´ve a truoble using solid element operation if one element is a complex profile. In the 3d view the operation works perfect(when i hide the operator element everything looks ok) but when i switch to 2d view the element doesn´t show the new changes. I don´t know if this is a known bug or there is a workaround to solve it.

Thanks in advance!</T>

In Archicad, 3D views, 2D section views etc are generated using the 3D engine and show as "true" representations and results of your operations in the model.

The 2D floor plan view however is symbolic, showing all the visible elements within its range. The elements show complete, not taking solid element operations into consideration.

If you want a "true" cut 2d plan view, you must make a 3D cut of the model and show it as an axonometric top view. If you like, you can save this view and overlay it with a floor plan view in a layout.

Thanks a lot!! I´ve had no idea about the existence of the 3d cut away , what a wonderful discover. Now works perfect

Cheers and have a nice weekend!
