<T>What am I missing? In AC9(osx) the sf area of zones doesn't show correctly in the zone dialog. It does appear correctly in the update zones dialog and sometimes in the zone stamp, but not always. I have check the dialogs and pref. , but can't find any cause for this..... Anyone experience this?</T>

Just wanted to say your not alone. I have never used zones in Archicad because the SF never display properly. It usually just says 0.0 sf on the plan, but will have the correct size in the zone settings. For area calculations I just use fills. It would be nice to have a use for the zone tool though

This is what I'm talking about. Note: the zone stamp says 100sf, the Update Zone dialog says 100sf, but the zone tooll dialog shows 9.29sf..... I don't get it.

The area value shown in the dialog (9.29) is the number of square meters in 100sf. It looks like a bug.

Thanks Matthew....... That sounds like the best answer yet. I figured it was something like that. It's nice to know I'm not crazy. Well...... at least as it relates to zones in Archicad.

in the last 2 weeks i have done alot of zone area calculations and after this i went back to see if my calcs are all wrong, i did a few by hand and fortunately they are good...could it be something related to preferences/zones or calculation units?
