By holding in the Alt key you get a little eye dropper which allows you to pick up and elements properties by holding in the alt key and pressing on the element whether it is an object, door, wall does not matter.

Then by pressing Ctrl & Alt key together you get a little injection which allows you to give and element the properties that you picked up with the eye dropper.

In the Help menu in Archicad search for "Parameter Transfer" it explains it nicely.

Hope it helps

<T>Hi all. Is there a way to quickly copy attributes between similar object types, i.e. doors. For example, if I switch from a door with a transom to one without a transom, I usually have to go through all of the settings again - pens, fills, door width/height, door leaf style, etc.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.</T>

1. Open the library part menu of the object with the settings you want.
2. In the lower left window of the menu, Cntr+Alt click on the icon of the library part you want to transfer the settings to.
See "Parameter Transfer Between Objects of Same Type" in T(F)M.
