mesh to roof

i recently upgraded from 6.5 to 8.1 and now can not use the mesh2roof add-on any more. is there a alternate way to do this in 8.1?

then, it was a very helpful tool...

In your 8.1 folders, did you move Mesh to Roof from the Goodies folder into the Addons folder? That should do it. (You can also use add-on manager to load mesh to roof directly from Goodies, as well.)

works! thank you.

still, its funny that this add-ons (mesh3roof, profiler...) are included in installation, but not enabled. why do we have to do it manually?

Maybe because all things you load take a bit of your computer memory.
