Yep. ArchiCAD is pretty much exclusively "noun-verb". Select stuff and then do something to it. The only exceptions I can think of are direct singular actions like the command/control and spacebar clicks (where the selected element is inferred). The tool selection is persistent but the commands are one offs. I'm not sure how your request would be implemented without complicating the interface/interaction with the program.

There is a "Repeat last command" (command/control + b by default). Not quite what you are looking for, but it can be handy.

There is also an outstanding wish for a "nudge" tool which would bump things by a predefined (by the user) distance. While I'm not sure exactly what this would look like either (option/alt + arrow keys perhaps) it seems it would at least accomplish part of what you describe.

<T>When i want to move an entity, i would like to give a move command and a distance, followed with the ability to pick entities or groups or areas in any combination, without having to re-input a move command if i miss an object...
i would like this to work with stretching, offseting, mirror etc, etc.

the whole idea is to eliminate repetitive commands for repetitive excercises</T>

You must pick all of the entities "before" you issue a command.
