Look in your Goodies folder (9.0) for 3D Studio In and read the doc file there.  (Move the addon into your addons folder, or load it from addon manager.)&lt;BR /&gt;

This is way it is essential that everyone includes their version in the signature of every post (modify your profile).&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
All you needed to do is click on the "search" link and enter "3ds import" and you would find this message from Stefan with a Windows version of the 8.1 3DS importer:&lt;BR /&gt;
