topic Save marquee w/ view in Modeling

<T>This came up a while back as a by the way under a different topic and just wondering if anything became of it.

When you have a 3d view saved with a marqueed area, when you go back to 2d the marquee does not always show up in plan. It used to be, if I recall, that when you switched to a 3D view with a marqueed area when you switched back to plan the marquee would always be there.

Very frustrating to have to redraw a complex marquee everytime.</T>

We're working in AC14 and it looks as if this is STILL not fixed. We render our elevations, putting a marquee on a particular part of the model and saving it with the view. When we want to make adjustments we go to the saved view then back to the Plan. In older versions of AC the saved marqee would appear but not in 13 (or 14 it seems). There are workarounds but if it was a known bug in 2006 it should have been fixed by now!
