topic Missing Meshes with Marquis in Modeling

<T>I'm building a gothic tower in ArchiCAD. The tracery windows are meshes autoscripted as MASSes into GDL window objects. These can be pretty intense, with maybe two thousand nodes and a dozen or so holes, but up until now they've been very well behaved. The overall file is around 22 MB and growing with lord knows how many polygons, but this is the first sign of strange behavior.

Some of these meshes are starting to quietly disappear in 3d when selected with the marquis. There are no error messages and they stay put when viewed after highlighting them with the selection tool. The image shows one story of the tower, selected with the marquis, with two identical instances of the same window object. The upper part of the tracery on the right has gone off to the crusades or something.

Has anyone encountered something similar? Any ideas what might be happening?</T>

Wow!!
It is very complicated...just with ArchiCAD.
Add-on must be good, if you work in long term for certain project.

The name of Add-on is:
Archi Wall or Archi Forma

Please rescue yourself from stress

Actually, I practice stress-free GDL, very relaxing:

* parts mostly created in ArchiCAD, dragged into 3D script
* structured by me, meaning I understand what I'm looking at, easy to debug
* parameters only where I need them
* no desire whatsoever to mass market.

But everyone should have Archiforma, I agree.
