1. I am in the 3D window and can't see my model anywhere. Where has it gone???!!!

2. How can I change my background color to black?

3. Why can't I change the thickness of my wall?!

4. How can I change the picture in the picture object?

5. Where is the offset command?

6. How is ArchiCAD different than Revit?

But you're right. Maybe it's time for a FAQ in this forum, for beginners, simpler than the Archiwiki? Is it possible to find the 50 most asked questions some easy way? Moderators?

Actually, this is/was one of the reasons for the creation of the Wiki, however answers to these FAQs have not been implemented there yet...in part because we as a group have not been making contributions there.

Anyone can create a wikiname and post an article there for others to improve upon in wiki-fashion. Just hasn't been happening. For myself, it's easier to respond semi-coherently/quickly here than to produce real writing there, so to date I have been an editor there and not a writer.

If you are in the 3D window, turn around.. it has to be somewhere.

You are what you are.. part of being born into a human body.

Tear down the wall, be free.

With a mirror

5. Where is the offset command?
Between the conscious and the unconscious.

6. How is ArchiCAD different than Revit?
AC works on a Mac

In AutoCAD.

It's not. It's exactly the same program but in a different box and more reasonably priced. So buy ArchiCAD.
