Select one and with the SLAB TOOL ACTIVE, MAGIC WAND the other.  Delete the 2nd one (because it TRACED it) and voila!</description>

      <description>ooops spoke too soon.  I couldn't get it to work.  I select slab 1 then with the slab tool active I hold down the space bar to magic wand slab 2.  All tht does is create a duplicate.  It doesn't combine them into.</description>
