Stairs in 8.1

I want to be able to see more stairs in the plan view. I created a new stair using the stair tool and put it in and when I look at it in floor plan view I see only the first 5 treads and I want to see the first set of treads, first landing and then some more treads. How can I do this?

Sorry to have posted this. I just looked in the Help menu and I found I have to turn story sensitive off. Who would of thunk that I should look in the help menu.

You can also edit the stair and change where the cut line appears. Just drag it from either side.

I believe the correct spelling is "wooda thunk"
