Creating double curved walls in AC

Is it possible to create double curved walls in ArchiCad? I am trying to create a building shaped somewhat like an egg... But unfortunately I am not skilled enough to create this kind om geometry... Can anyone help me?

I am also wondering if it is possible to change the section height of plans. An example; I have made some columns with a special top. My problem is that I don`t want them to be visible at the plan. Only in sections and 3D.

"Double cureve" walls unfortunately not...
but You can use the addons like Archiforma which might help...

As for the other question - use the layer combinations or saved views or both...

As Piotr suggested, ArchiForma can create these shapes ... or you can create them visually with the mesh tool, then save as an object to get them rotated into the correct configuration, or if it is a perfect elipsoid, you can use an object in the Special Construction / Basic Shapes library folder. You can also create the geometry in an external program and import it as a library part (3ds, dwg, etc.)

But, no matter which method you use, the result will not be an ArchiCAD "wall" in that you cannot insert windows/doors and openings in it. Rather, you will have to cut your own openings with solid element operations.

My problem is that I don`t want them to be visible at the plan. Only in sections and 3D.

Not necessarily; ArchiWall is pretty smart. It is not a wall, but it reads the openings from the template one, and does double curve.

Unfortunately I am a student, and don`t have access to these plug-ins (ArchiForma and ArchiWall), so I guess I will have to try to make it with the mesh tool...

Hmmm ... maybe a good soul that has the full license near you might help?
