topic Changing trim color on multiple windows in Modeling

<T>I have to change the exterior trim color on many windows. Looking for the best way to perform this operation.

I can select all the windows with the marquee, then find and select. However, only one window type shows in the info box. How can I perform this operation on all of them simply?

Should I select by window type? More steps, and I don't remember all the window types in the plan. Double hungs, fixed, casements, there's everything.</T>

depending on how many windo types - and I mean sources for wndows, also - like Windomaker, say, as compared to ArchiCAD windos, you might be able to select them all and change the specific material assignment globally, but if you are just looking for appearance, to evaluate colors, say, the cheap+nasty way is to change the material appearance in the material dialog........

I don't know if it works with standard AC windows, but with D&W Builder, if you select multiple windows of different shapes and sizes and only change one element, only that element changes on all windows.
