What hapened to spel cheker in AC10?

I am knott saying I nead it.... but wear iz spel cheker? The ad on is loded. I kant find it in any ove the work inverionment meneus or shortkuts.

It is if I apply the Scheme for "Layouting Profile".

I'm trying to add it to a Scheme for a custom Profile. The addon box is checked... yet I can't find Spell Checker to add it to the new scheme.

Work Environment>Command Layout Schemes>Menus...

left-hand well:
'All Commands by Theme' then '16 Add-Ons'. the spell checker menu and commands are held in there. make sure that you have a open menu in your right-hand (menu building) well otherwise the commands will appear greyed out (like in the screenshot below)

don't know why you'd want to use it . . . it doesn't work. keeps telling me colour is spelt without a 'U' . . .

Yea well.... think of all the time we save here in the US by not typing that extra letter.

Thanks Ben.... "16 add-ons".... I would have thought it would show under "all commands in alphabetical order"... must mean "all commands,.... except for the missing ones".

Mine checks colour as correct
You must have the wrong library loaded but am not sure how you change it
EDIT: you change it in the System pref - International. if Australian English (or your favourite flavour) isnt in the list choose edit list - select and move to the top of the list. Restart app.
Kiwi English doesn't get a guernsey so you are stuck with us boofs on this side of the ditch.

yep. the actual name of the command is not necessarily the same as the name of the function. there are many cases of that. hence me recommending you look for the command type by theme first.

if you look closely at my screenshot you'll see the actual command names grouped in folders that represent their function. you can see the name of the spell checker command quite clearly from that!
