<T>I placed a jpeg of fire in a fireplace I created. I placed it while in a S/E window. I can't find it on the plan, nor does it show up in 3D window of the fireplace.
Anyway I can find it on plan, move it tothe appropriate location in the plan, and have it show up in 3d view?</T>

It will not, unless it is a bitmapped object. If you placed it in the elevation window, it is only in that elevation window as a 2D element - pasted bitmap.

If you don't know how to do it in GDL, get ArchiFacade.

You can get it to show in a 3D rendering by using the object "Tree Bitmap" and select an individual picture (your "fireplace"-picture).
Don't think you need to see it in plan view?

Make sure the fire place pict is Alpha channeled or you will see the background in your pict. as well as the flames.
You also have to make sure that your pict. is loaded in the active library or it will not have an effect.

See attached pict. (even if the names are in Swedish you'll catch my drift I assume)
