Can I change a curved wall to be a straight wall easily without erasing curved wall and putting in straight wall?

Yes. If you select the curved wall, grab it and select the "insert new node" pet pallette button, instead of adding a node it will actually straighten the curve. Don't ask why.

yes - click somewhere along the length of the curve and add a new node using the pet palette. the wall snaps back straight.
