Log House System

Hallo,
I´m thinking about using ArchiCAD for creating visualization of my new project "Log Houses". Is there any possibility to use some plugin, which gives you this function in ArchiCAD? I´ve seen many visualization of log houses from other programs, but I like just few of them. The wood wasn´t realistic. Could somebody help me? Can I try some plugin from Graphisoft or third party for evalution? I am interesting in logs, not in girders.

There is a log home solution for Archicad. It has been around for about 6 years. You will need to buy it from an Archicad reseller. You can view it and buy it from Design Integrations in atlanta, GA. Check out their website www.designintegrations.com.

There is a lot you can do with just Archicad's wall tool.
Open the wall settings. Look in the Model tab and click on log details.

AC10 should also be helpful for log designers, with it's wall profile feature.

David, thank you. This tool is usefull for my start project.
