<T>Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie to ArchiCAD. I am looking to do a pretty simple transformation of my DWG file into 2D coordinates. Basically, I want to turn all my walls into a series of x and y points so that the file looks something like this:

31.150421471 27.316349377
31.375421957 27.316182046

31.180400275 39.260349377
31.005400275 39.260349377

31.005400275 39.312349377
31.180400275 39.312349377

31.180400275 35.660349377
31.005400275 35.660349377

31.005400275 35.712349377
31.180400275 35.712349377

31.180400275 32.060349377
31.005400275 32.060349377

and each two numbers represent a wall.

Is that possible with ArchiCAD?

All help much appreciated,

Thanks,

This is a bit of a stab in the dark, but have you tried saving as a DXF?

The beauty of DXFs is that they can be opened up in a text editor. I've seen guys edit entire DXFs in Notepad to change block names, then resave and whooshka, when they open it again all the blocks are switched out.

Anyway, I am guessing your wall data could show up and even be manipulated in the same way.

Cheers,
