topic Window Schedules in Modeling

<T>I have been trying to create window schedules that automatically bring in the type of window (double hung, awning, etc.) but every time I create any type of window schedule it always gives me FIXED as the window type. I decided to run a test so I installed ArchiCAD on another machine that has never run this software and low and behold I could create the window schedule the way I wanted it. I downloaded all the updates including the library updates to try and make the software match on both machines. What I found is that if I load the latest library update (ArchiCAD Library 9.pla) the window types come in as FIXED. If I load the original library that was included with ArchiCAD (Object Library.pla) the window types will come in how I want them but I lose half of the windows that I have placed on the drawing, as well as the markers! Is there anyway to fix this or do I have to scrap the updated library and go back to the old one. I realize I can just export the schedule to Excel and manually make the changes, but I don't feel I should have to. Thanks for the help.</T>

What parameter are you reading for the schedule?

I'm not sure what you mean by parameters?

Also, I've noticed that when I add a new window the location (zone) will no longer show up for any of the windows within the same location.
