This is no "ramp tool" in ArchiCAD. You can, as you said, use the roof tool or even the mesh tool. Ben

But the stair tool can be set to 'ramp' for custom stiars.

Non-vertical walls and concrete ramps- HOW DO YOU CREATE????

<R>Gidday I was just wondering if you can create non-vertical walls (ie- on 70 degree angles instead of 90) in ArchiCAD 8/9? If so, how?

***UPDATE***

Okay, I have found canted wall object...how do you put openings and delete the generic openings in it??

Also, how do you create concrete ramps in the slab?? I was thinking just using the roof tool but can you change all the attibutes so it looks like a slab? IS there an actual ramp slab function?

Thanks in advance. I appreciate your help.
I prefer the mesh tool as it gives much more control.
BTW, there are ramps in the ArchiCAD library.
Andrew
For non- vertical walls use the wall accessories from the extras menu.
Or even better , you can buy ArchiWall from Cigraph.

As for ramps you are correct, all you need to do is use the roof tool and give it the same properties (section fill, line, model materials etc) with your slab.

I agree with Ben, using mesh tool is much easier specially for a curved ramp . And one can always use the "create roof from mesh" command to transform a mesh to a roof.
And lets not forget using Solid Element Operations to make a wall tilt:

Two steep roof elements slice a thick wall - one extrudes up and one extrudes down.

Check ramp object for ramp.
