<T>I understand that on the Navegator of AC 11 there is semi hidden a button in the middle of the bottom of that dialogue box a "SAVE THE VIEW" option. How and what is this used for other than 3D views ? (and why ?)
Thanks,</T>

Do you mean the "save current view..." button?

This saves current settings of any view (2D or 3D, sections, elevations) with scale, layer combination, model view options, pen sets, dimension settings, zoom state, floor plan cut plane, 3D settings (where appropriate). These views should be what you then place on your layout, from the view map, NOT the project map.

Is this not what you have been doing? Or am I misunderstanding your question?

Thanks - and no where did I see that this is what I was to do. And it is a search to even find it, which is strange if it is soooo important.
So no I have been using the the sheets as they come up....and getting results tht are not what I saw when later printed out....after 10 years there is still so much to learn and no way of doing so as a single person.
Thanks again.

Have you ever attended a training session, or a seminar, or a user group meeting? This is the process that started in 7, 6 or so years ago ...
