<T>hello everyone!
i have a problem when i plot sth. when i have to make a plt file i cannot select which part of the floor plan i want to plot. for example i have two buildings in one plan and i want to print only one of them.
in the print dialog box i can select to print the marquee area or the current view, its better.
can anyone tell me if this is in plotting too?
thanks</T>

Vivi,
I guess you are ploting staight from archicad?
use the layout book instead and you'll be able to print only what you want rather than the whole drawing area.
hope this helps

yes, plotmaker creates/uses a layout book which contains your drawings either as pmk files saved from archicad or as straight links from the model into plotmaker using viewsets.
print/plot from plotmaker rather than using the marquee on the floor plan in archicad to print/plot.
as far as i know you cannot use the marquee to define an area to plot.... only to print.
In ArchiCAD 10, ArchiCAD & PlotMaker have been combined, take a look at the 01 ArchiCAD 10 New Features Guide.pdf.
