yes, that solved the issue quite effortlessly, since I had the glass as one object and the mullions as another! thanks David

I haven't checked for updates for a while, thanks for the tip Laszlo.

<T>I created this slanted curved curtain wall using profiler ( I am still on AC 9) when I use S/E tool it doesn't show the lines of the intersection of the glass with the mullion, which I guess is a shortcoming of the S/E tool never showing the line between two intersecting surfaces. Is this something that is fixed in AC 10?

I am assuming this could easily be modeled with AC 10's slanted walls, the curved glass wall would be segmented into straight segments. is that the way it would be done with 10?

p.s. the reason I didn't use the curtain wall curved object is I need more control over the profile..</T>

As a first step, you can install the latest AC9 Hotfix (2219) and see if that makes any difference.

Hassanen:

It looks like the glass runs through the mullions (in your 3D View I can see the edge of the glass at the side of the end mullion), so ArchiCAD does not recognize an intersection (the glass and mullion occupy the same space). I am not sure how you created this object using the Profiler, but you might try creating the glass and mullions as separate parts, then using SEO to subtract the glass from the mullions.
