topic Creating New Object in Modeling

<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>I'm trying to create a new library object for a specific type of commercial kitchen equipment. The original 2D drawing of the equipment was drawn with polylines. When I copy the polylines, and then try to paste them in the "New Object" 2D symbol window, the polylines don't paste. I realize there isn't a polyline function in the 2D symbol tool box, but is there any other way to bring them in?</T></DIV>

Just grab all the stuff and explode it in the floor plan window prior to copying it into the 2D object window. Like a lot of ArchiCAD, it is an absurd act but not catastrophic.
