The work around I have in mind is to just select "none" for Marker Polygon choice and draw lines on top of my clipping area, Ctrl-G them together.

Why do even the most common things still take work arounds ?

<T>I think you cab see here what I am trying to do.

I want the corners of my marker to be rounded like the clipping boundry.

Can this be done or not ?</T>

Not out of the box, no. You could probably do some GDL work to make it happen, but I cannot say since I never tried.

That's what I've been doing. My custom detail marker does not even have a polygon outline. It's just a reference tag.
