DOHHH! Oh well, maybe next time - although I did want to make a clean break from the "corrupted" version and start afresh.
Thanks, Tom

<T>Just yesterday I started having some weird behavior - namely every time I quit a session of ArchiCad, it crashes and starts the bug reporter. I have trashed all the preference files, done some New & Resets etc... Is there anything else I could try?
Thanks, Tom</T>

Options to try:
1) Use disk utility to repair permissions
2) Do a new and reset in AC to see if there is a problem object or setting
3) If it is a project that is giving you problems, it might be a problem library part or slab/roof/terrain that have invalid holes

The last time I had this happen to me was after drawing a slab and using the magic wand to remover a portion of it. For some reason AC then crashed either when building an elevation or when closing. This was in AC8.1

Well, I tried a bunch of things - none of which worked - so I uninstalled and reinstalled AC9 and everything seems to be working fine. I just need the rest of the day to reconfigure all my keyboard shortcuts, pallet layouts and toolbar customization! Oh well.
Remember that you can export all your settings to a file so that if you need to reinstall then you can import them and avoid having to do them all over again...
